APIA is the Australasian Paper Industry Association representing the paper industry across Australia and New Zealand. The APIA Secretariat is run by The Real Media Collective. APIA and the Collective operate across a common industry collaboratively representing the paper, print, packaging, mail, publishing and distribution sectors in Australia and New Zealand. We work together on projects and key initiatives, as well as share a common Chief Executive Officer and an independent Board.

The Australasian Paper Industry Association Ltd (APIA) is the industry association representing the interests of the Australasian paper and board industry. The membership includes paper and board manufacturers, paper and board importers (including mill agents) and paper distributors and convertors.
APIA represents the international and local manufacturing of fibre-based products into Australia and New Zealand.
APIA endeavours to ensure an efficient and stable product supply to the ANZ markets.
Code of Conduct
Members agree to observe high standards of honesty, integrity, and respect in their interaction with customers, competitors, suppliers, and other organisations and individuals.
Members shall develop and maintain best practice standards in relation to the environment and sustainability and occupational health and safety,
Members agree to comply with the Illegal Logging Prohibition Act; and where applicable the forestry certification standards administered by the Australian Forestry Standard Ltd (AFS), or the Program for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC) or the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC).
Members agree to comply with all applicable legislative requirements including the Corporations Act, the Competition and Consumer Act and the Customs Act.
Members undertake to promote the benefits of paper and paper board
Members undertake to provide appropriate training and professional development of staff.
